Mold Remediation
Microscopic mold spores exist almost everywhere both indoors and outdoors. Mold spores quickly grow into colonies once exposed to water, and can spread throughout a structure in as little as 48 - 72 hours.
There are critical 4 requirements for mold growth:

Mold Spores - These are literally everywhere, making it virtually impossible to completely eliminate them from building environments

Considerable Moisture - Humans typically live below the critical humidity level required for mold growth. However when excess water is introduced, large mold outbreaks occur.

Suitable Temperature - Warm tropical regions such as The Bahamas create the ideal environment for abundant quantities of mold

Mold Food - Many of the common materials in our homes such as wood, paper and organic fibers are preferred food sources for mold. Any carbon based substance (organic material) can provide enough nutrients to support mold growth.
Our Program

Our mold remediation program removes some of the necessary requirements for mold growth, and considerably removes mold from the affected structure. We do this by addressing three issues: temperature, moisture, and mold spores. Our specialized heating equipment denatures mold spores using high temperatures. This also serves a dual purpose of drying out any wood or sheetrock that has experienced moisture intrusion. We then follow this up with a biocide treatment that is specifically geared towards eliminating any mold spores that may be inside the structure. This biocide continues to protect the building from other mold spores for up to 6 months after treatment. Our heat treatment does not include any chemicals, and our unique biocide is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Mold growth poses a serious health risk as infestations become severe and exposure is prolonged. Any mold infestation that is greater than 10 sq ft and has affected drywall and studding should be looked at by a professional before attempting to do a DIY treatment. Proper personal protective equipment is required, and you may put yourself at risk.

BLEACH DOES NOT COMPLETELY KILL MOLD!
Bleach kills surface mold but does not penetrate deeply into wood or sheet rock to kill the roots.

When you begin scrubbing live mold spores, they become airborne, which can spread the infestation further and contaminate previously clean areas
